Women and men are you looking for the best after pregnancy diet? If so, look no further, I am going to give it to you, but before I do, here is some information I believe can be beneficial to you now and in the future.
That’s right men gain it during the pregnancy as well. I gained 20lbs when my wife was pregnant with our daughter. My brother gained 20lbs during his wife’s pregnancy. I have had friends who gained as well.
For most women, weight is a very sensitive subject. Growing up, I was taught, you never ask a woman two things her age and her WEIGHT. Weight being the more of the two so-called evils against women.
Weight for most people can be a problematic issue. It’s the one thing we all gain and lose. But the key for most is knowing how to keep it off. Women typically have problem area’s in the same places, their arms, thighs and butt, and the infamous stomach!
Which after pregnancy leaves some women with that little pooch, or stomach pouch. Womens’ bodies naturally retains more water and fat than men, the reason is obvious. It is because they are made to bear children. Now, I’m not saying that is the only reason women are put on this earth for, I’m saying it is obviously apart of their genetic make up.
During pregnancy because of this and hormones, it is a pretty stressful time for women. The average weight gain for a woman during pregnancy is 20 – 60 pounds. The average for men is about 10 – 20 pounds, my assumption.
So once the baby is born, and the placenta is out as well, everything else retained is mainly water and fat! For women, I understand the fact that you are eating for two or more! Men, we just eat I guess because she is eating, lol!
But here is a key to dropping the weight, limiting how much you gain, and keeping it off! You ready. The SECRET is staying active, preferably fitness training!
Women if you can during your pregnancy, work out, whether it’s in the gym or at home. It doesn’t have to be anything extreme like weight lifting or pilates, but even if you are taking brisk walks, or walking on the treadmill, it helps because your body is not being sedentary. Men, the same rule applys, yet it can be more intense because you are not carrying a child.
